I'm not really sure where to begin. It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks and a lot has happened. Grayson is now crawling like crazy all over the place. If you turn your head for a SECOND, he's grabbed onto something and has himself pulled up to a full stance. E did a super job with baby proofing the outlets, cabinets, etc. I just can't imagine that my son is going to walk, talk, hold my hand, and be a young man!
It’s amazing but at 8 1/2 months, he’s been babbling ‘mama’ and ‘dada’ a lot, and he loves to clap, and he even knows how to give me five if I ask him and raise my hand! That’s my favorite thing happening at the moment! He LOVES to drum!
Anything that makes noise he hits, and anything he can grab, he bangs it off of whatever he can! We definitely need to get him a drum kit from The California Drum Shop! Drumsticks first, however! He will be 9 months on October 25th, and it’s crazy to think that the holidays will be here soon! My beautiful wife has his savings all set up and our family and friends have been fantastic in contributing to his future!
Another highlight was that Grayson was baptized last week. We had a small gathering of family and my Godmother / Aunt Nancy officiated the ceremony on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon! Overall, life is moving pretty fast and it’s nice to have more free time then I’ve had in a while to spend with my son. I’m blessed to have such a solid
rock in my life. My wife. Of course I can’t forget about my little pebble also…Grayson!
I’m going to be writing about my little pebble a lot more now that he’s developing so quickly! I CAN’T wait until you see his Halloween costume! E dressed him in it to see if it fits and it’s ADORABLE!
