Week 31 And Turducken!

It's turkey time in the household this week and E is eating for two! This year we will be at family's outside of Philadelphia so we get to sit back, relax, and chow down!  Obviously with E being at 31 weeks, there's only about 9 left! ( I think...) She's pretty unfomfortable for the most part but knows it's expected and has taken it like a champ.  Someone said to use the baby's "Boppy Pillow" to sleep with but it didn't really work for her.  Great idea but not for everyone!  Here is what the website "Pregnancy Center" sent us this week in regards to our baby and his development :

This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He’s probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby’s kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.

During this holiday time, enjoy it with family and friends! Realize life isn’t as bad as we make it out to be! We have a TON of friends all pregnant and due within days and weeks of us and  all of us cannot wait to start this new chapter in our lives! Stay warm and eat lots of turkey, turducken, ham this season! Just save some for the little one if you’re eating for two!
